Mohammad Mizaur Rahman and Rasiul Kabir of Bangladesh earned gold medals in the 5th Korea Open International Taekwondo Championship that concluded on Saturday in the Korean city of Incheon.
Mizanur Rahman, who earlier won gold medal in the 10th South Asian Games, clinched the gold in the men’s -87 Kgs weight category beating Musabir Ali of Pakistan.
Rasiul Kabir bagged the gold in the men’s +87 Kgs weight category defeating another Pakistani Muzahid.
Both the Bangladeshi players participated in the Korean meet as part of their preparations for the ensuing 11th South Asian Games to be held in Bangladesh next January.
